Overview
Introduction: The Culture and Community Development Department is responsible for the maintenance and management of streets and parks, local traffic regulations, culture and leisure, as well as community planning, projects, and development. Ludvika Sports Hall is a meeting place for schools, associations, and individuals, featuring a swimming pool, family bath, relaxation area, Actic gym, and bowling alley, hosting activities from physical education to club activities. Responsibilities: As a swimming and sports hall staff member, you will have varied daily duties focused on safety, service, and well-being including lifeguarding, conducting swimming lessons for the municipality’s schools during the day and for all ages in your own organization during evenings and weekends, cleaning and maintaining the facility’s hygiene, as well as reception work involving assisting visitors with bookings and inquiries. Qualifications: Essential qualifications include relevant education or experience such as training from the Swedish Lifesaving Society (e.g., pool lifeguard), swimming instructor or assistant instructor training, or education from a relevant high school program like the Child and Leisure program, plus good proficiency in Swedish and English, and basic computer skills. Experience with teaching children and digital systems is preferred.
