Intro: Strömma Kanalbolaget is a brand within the Strömma Turism & Sjöfart AB group operating experience-based trips and activities in several cities across the Nordic region. For our Gothenburg operation, we are now seeking seasonal employed able seamen to work onboard our archipelago vessels serving Gothenburg harbor and archipelago. Responsibilities: For the 2026 season, we are looking for reliable and dedicated able seamen with strong drive to work onboard our Gothenburg-based vessels. The role involves varied and service-oriented tasks such as supervision and maintenance of the ship's machinery, upkeep of passenger and crew areas, and simpler digital documentation and follow-up routines connected to our safety and environmental system. Safety onboard and customer service are central parts of the deck staff’s work, collaborating closely with those responsible for daily vessel operations and representing the company towards guests on our cruises in the archipelago. Qualifications: You have Able Seaman certification or higher, valid Basic Safety training, documented experience in deck service and ship maintenance, fluent English in speech and writing, and a valid medical certificate for seafarers.
