Overview

{"intro":"Are you ready for the next step in your career and want to contribute to societal security? We offer you the opportunity to join a world-leading product company developing advanced and socially critical systems, with a focus on quality, long-term perspectives, and continuous learning. Both technical development and well-being in daily work are valued.","responsibilities":"In this role, you will be part of a department with two teams working on software for complex systems supporting Swedish defense capabilities. Your focus will be system development with an integration emphasis, working to integrate a specific domain into a larger system landscape. The work includes software development and adaptation at both application and system levels, primarily using C++ and Java, as well as working with interfaces, adapters, and system connections. You collaborate closely with other developers and experts from adjacent fields throughout the entire development process, from requirements and design to implementation, testing, and delivery. The teams work structured with sprints and regular reviews, with a strong delivery focus and high demands on quality and documentation. The onboarding process is thorough, combining theory and practical work, supported by experienced colleagues, offering excellent opportunities for technical and professional growth in a stable and well-organized environment.","qualifications":"You will develop and integrate software modules that form parts of larger marine command systems. The work is varied and closely tied to real products, with teams contributing to systems used in complex operations. You will join one of two application teams — one integrating various weapons systems, or one focusing on video, video data distribution, and simulators for external equipment. Responsibilities include application development, protocol integration, video conversion, network configuration, and working in simulated environments. Developers are involved in the full process: requirement breakdown, design, implementation, documentation, testing, and customer acceptance. Scrum is used in three-week sprints, and teams work towards clear quarterly milestones. The role requires close collaboration with experts in many technical areas, promoting learning and continuity. Teams integrate new hardware and software at protocol level and develop adapters translating internal commands for external HW/SW. The role is mainly software-oriented and not embedded, though some hardware interfacing occurs. Employment requires passing current security clearance regulations and is restricted to Swedish citizens."}
