In your daily work, you contribute to our high quality level by ensuring that our welds, forgings, and castings maintain the correct quality. At Aston Harald, we work with Visual Inspection, Penetrant Testing, Magnetic Particle Testing, and Ultrasonic Testing according to ISO 9712. Your main assignment includes non-destructive testing of welds and base materials, visual inspection, magnetic particle testing, penetrant testing, ultrasonic testing, documentation in the form of protocols, and reporting deviations in materials or weld defects. Qualifications: To succeed in this role, you need a certification according to ISO 9712 level 2 in VT, MT, PT, and UT, a secondary school education, good knowledge of Swedish and English both spoken and written, experience from working with ERP systems, and you must be meticulous and organized. Positive and professional interaction with customers, classification societies, and colleagues is also expected. It is advantageous if you have worked with other testing methods and standards than those currently used. Having level 3 certification is highly merited. The company may finance parts of the education if you have the right personal qualities but lack some required certifications.
