Intro: The Rehabilitation Clinic is part of Specialized Care at Blekinge Hospital, operating at two locations. It provides inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services including specialist, pain, and cancer rehab. Ward 20 is a 12-bed unit with two teams, caring for adult patients in various rehabilitation phases following conditions such as stroke, neurological diseases, brain injuries, postoperative care, orthopedics, and spinal cord injuries. Responsibilities: As a nurse at Ward 20, your tasks will be varied, involving care for patients in both acute and rehabilitation phases. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, counselors, and speech therapists. The approach is person-centered with active patient participation and a rehabilitation plan developed and followed regularly. The role involves complex medical-technical tasks like managing PEG tubes, intravenous lines, and tracheostomy care. Ward 20 emphasizes a supportive and collaborative environment where continuous professional development is encouraged. Qualifications: Required is a Swedish nursing license. Experience is valued but new graduates are welcome.
